My name is Tim Risse, owner of Quality Wood Products, LLC. I started my career over 40 years ago working for contractors before moving on to the Milwaukee County Parks. During my time with the Parks, I worked on projects including props for the Mitchell Park Domes, wooden park signs, and general maintenance. I founded QOWP in 2011 in order to pursue my dream of owning my own shop and producing individualized, quality products at a reasonable price. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with customers to develop customized project plans and then bringing those plans into reality. Recently, some of my favorite jobs have included the seating and stage at the outdoor amphitheater at the Wher Nature Center, treehouses, various decks, and a gazebo. Last year I developed a line of picnic tables, including wheelchair accessible options, which I am proud to now be selling.
